Breaching the terms of your settlement agreement

If you breach the terms of your settlement agreement after having been made redundant, you would have to repay the enhanced amount of redundancy payment that was paid to you. Employees are usually alarmed about this. We have seen cases where employers go further and ask for a full indemnity in the event of a breach in order for them to seek any legal costs as well.
