Employers and employees should note the following changes to employment payment rates which will take effect from 11 April 2011:

  • Statutory Sick Pay will increase from £79.15 to £81.60;
  • The standard rates applicable for (i) Statutory Maternity Pay, (ii) Statutory Paternity Pay and (iii) Statutory Adoption Pay, will increase from £124.88 to £128.73; and Maternity allowance will increase from £124.88 to £128.73.
